Abstracts are invited on any aspect of the syntax and/or morphology of the dialects of Italy (including non-Romance varieties) as well as on argument/event structure in a variational synchronic and/or diachronic perspective, including, but not limited, to the following:
- Voice
- Grammatical relations
- (in)transitive alternations
- Split intransitivity
- Existential/presentative constructions
Accepted talks should be no more than 20-minutes in length (plus 10 minutes for questions). Submissions are limited to 1 individual and 1 joint abstract per author, or 2 joint abstracts per author. Abstracts should include the title, but not the author’s name(s). Abstracts should be no longer than two pages in length (including examples and references), in 12-point font size.
The conference languages are Italian and English.
DEADLINES
Abstracts must be submitted no later than 30 April 2022.
Speakers will be notified of the results of their abstract review by 25 June 2022.
